The scam: Now that Verizon’s FiOS service has begun working its way into the Lehigh Valley, We’ve Got Your Back wants you to be aware of a recent settlement the company had in New Jersey. We have had no reports that any problems have arisen here, but New Jersey’s strong consumer protection does provide a warning signal for us across the Delaware River.

Verizon New Jersey, Inc. has agreed to a settlement with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General and the Division of Consumer Affairs to resolve a lawsuit over its marketing, sales, billing and customer service practices for the FiOS television, telephone and internet services.
