If you have AT&T cell phone service and your reception is bad you might find the new 3 G Micro Cell useful. There is a catch though, you have to live in the Charlotte North Carolina area to get it. They are the first to test out the new 3 G Micro Cell.

The Micro Cell is an adapter that connects to your DSL or cable modem at your home. It then is suppose to provide you with better phone service by using your internet connection.

The cost for the 3 G Micro Cell is $150.00. There is only a monthly fee if you want to make unlimited calls using the Micro Cell. The cost is $20.00 a month. You are also suppose to get faster data connections using the cell. If you live somewhere that your cell phone reception is terrible this might make the difference.

Will enough people be willing to pay $150.00 for something they expected to already have? That being good cell phone service, the jury is still out. If you are an AT&T customer what are your thoughts on the new 3G Micro Cell?
